Floyd L. Mills started in Real-Estate in 2000, two years after moving to Michigan. He started out as a laborer for Westminster and Abby Homes located in Southfield, MI. Knowing nothing about this business, but was a fast learner. In 2001, he moved from laborer to punch man (inspector) in 2003, moved from inspector to superintendent assistant, and in 2004, was hired as a superintendent, all self-taught with the Wisdom of the Lord Jesus Christ,
Before being laid off in 2006, he felt God telling him to buy houses. Again, he did not know how to fix houses, but very shortly, had 18 rental homes and a 8 unit apartment building with the Lord leading and guiding him. Any repair work he did himself along with some hired help for plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, etc.Today, he is a real estate investor, seminar teacher, and a real estate agent for the State of Michigan and still a landlord. Floyd’s gifts are in leadership and administration and teaching. He also spent 5 years in prison, but came out doing all the work of the Lord Jesus Christ who he attributes to transforming him into a successful business person.
